The 30th edition of the Doha International Book Fair (DIBF), one of the largest international book fairs in the region, is taking place at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre, until January 18, under the supervision and organization of the Qatar Centre for Cultural and Heritage Events.
The DIBF has a long and storied history :) The first was held in 1972 and initially would be held every two years, soon thereafter it became an annual event.
Since 2010, the DIBF is selecting one country to be the ‘Guest of Honor’. Brazil, USA, Russia, Turkey, Iran and Germany have been Guest of Honors in the past and now, it’s France’s turn.

- You will find plenty of popular books in beautiful covers; Sleeping Beauty, The Little Mermaid, Lord of the Rings, The Little Women and Peter Pan to name a few.
