Katy Perry, Maroon 5, Maluma in Doha
Katy Perry, Maroon 5, Maluma and Cheb Khaled are performing in Doha this December! The global superstars are coming to Qatar, as part of the Qatar Live campaign launched by Qatar Airways and the Qatar National Tourism Council (QNTC).
The spectacular music events are taking place in December to align with the 24th Arabian Gulf Cup Qatar 2019 (November 26 to December 8) and the FIFA Club World Cup Qatar 2019 (December 11 to 21), in an effort to "provide world-class entertainment for football fans, visitors and local residents”.
The superstars of pop Katy Perry and Maroon 5, the Latin music star Maluma and the music legend Cheb Khaled will be performing at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre (DECC) between December 13th and 19th.

Katy Perry
She’s an American pop singer, born in 1984. She became widely known with the single ‘I Kissed a Girl’. Her real name is Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson and her parents are pastors. She faced various difficulties before her breakthrough and now she is one of the most popular pop artists and a judge on the show ‘American Idol’.

Maroon 5
Maroon 5 is a pop rock band from Los Angeles, California. It currently consists of lead vocalist Adam Levine, keyboardist and rhythm guitarist Jesse Carmichael, bassist Mickey Madden, lead guitarist James Valentine,
drummer Matt Flynn, keyboardist PJ Morton, and multi-instrumentalist Sam Farrar. They have won various awards, including three Grammy Awards and eight Billboard Music Awards. They rose to fame with the singles ‘This Love’, ‘She Will Be Loved’ and more.

Maluma is a Colombian singer and songwriter and his original name is Juan Luis Londoño Arias. His songs are among the most popular in the pop genre - he knows how to make people dance!

Cheb Khaled
Cheb Khaled was born in 1960 and he is a popular Algerian singer, widely known in the Arab countries. His 1993 song ‘Didi’ became a hit. It’s his signature song and the one that made him really popular in Europe and other continents as well.

Yara and Ibrahim Dashti will also perform in the Arab Music category on December 5, while Rahma Riyad, Fahad Al Kubaisi and Omar Al Abdallat will perform on December 7 at DECC.
